Lip Stains

So... I've been trying to find a really good lip stain. I've tried Maybelline and CoverGirl and Revlon but I haven't really been blown away by them. Does anyone have a particular brand they prefer?

i like Benetint and what the hell is that one that looks like a marker at Sephora? is it Tarte or Urban Decay hrmmmm, i'll have to go dig it out.

I just got one from Ulta that's their brand and it's actually pretty good...it was like 7 bucks and also looks like a marker. It was surprisingly not-drying and the color stayed pretty well.

Is there a difference between colored lip balms and lip stains? Does it actually stain the lips for a long period or is it just like a sheer lipstick?

they're matte and they stay on for a long time, and they're not sticky like lip balms and stuff.

this is my absolute favourite go to lip stain, it lastes FOREVER and it adds moisture rather than taking it away which is the problem with most stains

Hmm definitely going trying this one veeeery soon!

Also, I bought the Ulta lip stain, it's a pretty good stain for $8 but they didn't carry the exact shade of red I was looking for. But I still really like how long it lasted and that it didn't super dry out my lips!

the tarte one is expensive...but its totally worth it (well expensive in Canada, it might be more reasonably priced in the US)
