When I think of Australia I think of marsupials (mainly Kangaroos!), dingos, sheep, the Sydney Opera House, and Crocodile Dundee...When I was little I thought all Australians were like that.
Also seems to be a very masculine culture from what I've heard.

I don't think nutella is australian. pretty sure it's either italian or german, definitly european. but australians do eat it a lot.

(edit: looked it up, it's italian.)

Uh I feel bad, we spent half a year learning about Australia in English class and I feel like I can't remember anything.

So... when I think of Australia..
- all the crazy animals, not just the poisonous ones but overall how many species there are that aren't anywhere else
- Aborigines and their spiritual system (the most interesting part of that half year) with the rainbow serpent etc.
- the Lost Generation and all that nasty stuff because English class always seems to focus on everything bad English people have done? oO
- the Sydney opera
- how so many people think Sydney is the capitol
- Uluru/Ayers rock

can't think of anything more right now that hasn't already been said

Really? My bad... I don't know why I thought that. I guess I had an Australian neighbor who ate it...

Lol. It says he was born in Australia, and also that he speaks with a British accent. How confusing.

Frogstomp, Freakshow, yeah. Neon Ballroom, even. I had to actually look up Straight Lines to see what it was.
