Thanks <3 well my due date is today & so far no baby, had an appointment & the doctor said I am still only dilated @ 1cm & my cervix isnt completely soft

5 days overdue now & still no change so far except painn, but not the pain i need to be in to have this baby. shes just pinching a nerve that causes terrible pain in the left side of my back & numbness in my legss, yay :/ well i was just curious how the other mommys & mommys to be were doing?!?

I'm getting pretty big now but I haven't taken any recent pictures, the baby moves around a ton, it's so weird because you can see it and she likes to wedge her head into my hip and make my leg go numb. I'm only 2/3 of the way there so I can only imagine it will get worse.


Oh, and I guess I forgot to announce that it's a girl! So we're working on names, we only had boy names picked out because everyone was sure it was a boy!

well i did pop june 26th 2010. on june 24th i went in to get induced @ 8pm they put some stuff on my cervix to soften it to help me dilate & 2 hours later i started having contractions & they had to give me a shot of something in my IV a few times. next morning the contractions were so bad that they gave me the epidural & at that time i was almost dilated to 3cm. throughout the whole day i had the epidural hooked up to me & they had to give me a few boosters because i could still feel some contractions. after the epidural thingy ran out and they took it away i had to have another booster of stronger stuff & they ended up hooking stronger stuff up to me. I was dialted @ 9 for a few hours & finally @ 1130 pm i was dilated to 10 +2 they said. @ 12 i started pushing about 20 minutes later the epidural wore off and oh man was that something. 2 1/2 hours after starting to push they had to use the vacuum as my babygirl was stuck on my pelvic bone and when she passed that everytime i pushed she would start to come out but then went back in. :/ @ 2:34am saterday morning my precious babygirl Hailey Valentine was born <3 shes 8 days old today. her daddy was so much help as well as my mom. She was worth every bit of pain!! <333

Thanks... Yea poor baby had a cone head for a few days but shes okay and her head is normal now

Most babies have cone heads whether or not they get pliers or a vacuum. Their head is soft so it can mold and squeeze through your cooter, otherwise it won't fit. It goes back afterward. That's why there's a soft spot where the skull connects on top of your head.

that is true, i think the vacuum and pliers makes it worse though.

she was only 7lbs 4oz & 19 inches long

19 inches isn't very long at all! She will probably be average height, just perfect My daughter was born 6 lbs. 14oz. just short of 21 inches. In my mind they're all perfect
