Where have you been?

Hah, since I like making useless lists, which countries have you been in (for real though, not 5 minutes cause the plane had to stop haha). For the Americans I'll change it to 'which countries/states' I suppose. Come to think of it, it's basically just the same, to me countries seem more different to eachother than states, but in most cases that's probably only because of the language difference.

I'd really like to go to America one day, I'd really like to know how difference the culture is to the Belgian culture. 'America' is a very wide concept though, just like in Europe: Belgium and Greece have totally different cultures. In how far is that the case in America? Do the different states also have that big differences between them?

Yeah different states have big differences in them, it's a really diverse country. I wish I could explain it better though.

I've been from Canada down to Florida, but I've never been off the East Coast in my life.

Certain states are more alike than others, but there's definitely a difference between most of them. Not nearly as much as comparing Belguim to Greece, but enough difference that it's noticeable.

Yeah sure, I guess countries like Belgium, France and The Netherlands and stuff really aren't that different, but like I said, the language makes it seem like it is.
