Things that should always be in the car.

I keep a milk crate in the back of my car with large plastic trash bags (emergency insulation), paper towels, a small tool kit, and other random things I dont want spread all over the place.

Ive been meaning to purchase an emergency road-side assistance kit though..

I was actually watching MythBusters or something last night and they did this test to see how you could get out of the car if it were submerged in water. you never know what can happen... and the best way to escape a car underwater is to break the window. for that you need something similar to a hammer, except it has a pointed end that makes the glass shatter pretty easily.

i dont think i'll have to worry about drowning due to being trapped in my car, but ive decided to throw an object like that in there JUSt in case... lol.

i also have a bazillion CD's. they never leave my car because if i forget them the ride is miserable, no matter how short or long it is!!!

I generally keep 2 gallons of drinking water, a small caliber pistol (usually a .38), a box of power bars, a blanket,$40 cash,a spare check book and a change of clothes in my car.

scissors are perfect for that. you can also take a thick coin (like a nickel), put it between your fingers and punch the window. Itll shatter the glass and not hurt your hand as much. I dont know if itll work under water but thats how they break into cars around here.

AAA only tows 5 miles & I live in a hodunk town so its useless (I broke down at my school which is literally 10 minutes from my house but they wouldn't tow it to my house cos its over 5 & there wasn't a shop within 5 so I was FUCKED and had to live without my car for 2 days until I figured out the problem & fixed it myself....grrr). I only keep it for when I'm traveling.

I keep a roadside assistance kit my bro got me (but I've only used the jumper cables & seem to have lost everything else in it), wet wipes, tissues, copies of my cds (cds melt in Florida if left in the car), dark long pants, a couple of beach towels, pen and paper, a sharpie, and a hoodie.

Umm. I don't think keeping condoms in the car is a very good idea. The heat that builds up inside a car can make them perish.

I keep a pocket knife, a pen and paper, maps, sunglasses, and music in my glovebox. And in the boot, a gas can, re-usable shopping bags, 2 blankets, and a pair of gumboots. Oh and I've just started carrying a step ladder around in my boot as well. I'm only 5ft1'. LOL.

well i dont drive, so i dont have any personal input..

but my mom always had a cheap disposable camara in her glove box...
incase there was an accident or anything...like that..that could benefit from some..pictures..ya know? a plate number..a car..a persons face..
seems like a good idea to me

and a spare leash..incase you find a lost little puppy on the road

Yeah, might be ok if your car doesn't have a heater!
Half the time my car is warmer than my house in winter,:)
