This is my tutorial ice breaker.I bought all my supplies at WalMart. You'll need a hot glue gun for this project!
Cut some ribbons 6-7 in. If you're using a decorative ribbon like I did, glue it on top of the ribbon you're using as the base. I put a thin strip of glue the entire length the decorative ribbon
Its a good idea to press hard to make sure the ribbon on top dries relatively flat.
Next, make a loop with your ribbon.
Fold back the end of the loop and place a glob of hot glue on it.
Your completed loop should look like this:
Next, cut another piece of ribbon about 3-4 in. for the middle section. If you're using a thick ribbon you may need to cut it in half length wise. Place a dab of glue on one end of the ribbon and glue it to the back side of the loop.
Wrap the ribbon around from back to front a couple times. Make sure you pull slightly when wrapping to give the bow its shape. If any excess wraps around to the front, just cut off the excess and then place a dab of glue on the end and glue it down. It should look like this
Then you can glue on any adornments you'd like!
The last step! Place a small glob of glue onto a hair clip. Quickly press the bow onto it and try to center it as best you can before the glue dries. If it's crooked, you can peel it off the clip and re-glue it.
You can make a whole plethera for friends! Or for yourself to enjoy.
