The Search Tool and Post Topics - please read!

Postby Ms Minx on Sun Nov 13, 2005 12:22 pm

Hi guys, to those of you who have been on here since day one, you probably have read most of 150,000+ posts on here, I know I have!

I just wanted to remind everyone that we have a SEARCH button on here -near your login link.

It's really helpful to search something like 'bleached hair' or 'vegan recipes' or 'small shoes' -- or whatever else you may be thinking about!

Check it out.... as always, post away with questions, as the community grows, there's so many topics and people answering questions... but never hesitate to use that little tool, it's great!

ALSO... as the boards are growing, please try to make your post topic specific, i.e. "How to shorten a skirt?" instead of "help!" it makes it easier to reply to!

To make it easy to read through the forums, there are a few phrases that some of you have been requesting or adding on on your own. To new posters, these are helpful:
TMI (too much information - usually in a personal post)
IMG Heavy (a lot of pictures that may take a bit longer to load)
Not Office Safe (Don't open this one at work)
TUTORIAL (one of the most popular types of posts - everyone loves tutorials!)

In the Events section - posting DATE/CITY/Event is super helpful

THANK YOU!!!!!
