ever get those giant, under the skin, just won't be popped for the life of you zits? next time you're plagued with one, grab a little neosporin [or any other antibiotic petroleum jelly based product] and cover the zit with it. then slap on a bandaid and hit the sack. the antibiotic will penetrate the skin and remove some of the infection. the petroleum jelly base will keep the skin smooth and soft, so your cover up will go on easier.
if you do this for a few nights in a row, you'll see a vast improvement.
if you get blackheads that are hard to scrub off, take the rounded end of a safety pin to them. [you know, the spring-like end, not the clasp or point] center the blackhead in the circle of metal and press down. this puts pressure around the entire blackhead, and forces the dirt and oil out not down. you'll be amazed how much gunk comes out, and how clean the pore stays. follow up with a good antibacterial soap or face wash to prevent any new infection from setting in.
