Coffee Body Scrub

For some reason, I have a massive tub of Folger's coffee -- I think I got it from a rider after a concert. Anyway, I'm not a Folger's fan - but I found a use! I mixed the grounds with some almond liquid body soap and made a REALLY yummy smelling body scrub.

Shower's a bit messy, but the smell in the AM is ACE!

We always use coffee grounds to get ink off our hands in printmaking class, definitely works well as a scrub!

I do this too! Or well actually, I normally just "recycle" the used ones out of the coffee pot and mix them with a bit of brown or raw sugar. But if we haven't made coffee in while, my grandma left a giant thing of Folgers in my freezer that I'll use. Follow it up with a nice oatmeal soap and your skin smells so good and is so soft for days.

And the coffee grounds are good for cleaning your plumbing pipes--I don't remember where I heard that but I'm sure they don't hurt.
