how to remove hot pink and dark purple dye from your grout

situation

Oh no you split your hot pink and purple hairdye on the tiles and in your clumsy attempt to clean it you've spread it..its faded but spread. and its in the grout!

whats needed.

an old wash cloth.

nail polish remover

hand sanitiser

bucket with water in it.

scrubbing brush

something to cover your mouth

what you need to do.
with a mask over your nose and mouth. poor some hand sanitiser scrubb away the wash cloth is good for running over the grout and soaking up extra fluid. then using the nail polish remover to clean out the grout.

another thing that works very well: J-lo perfume. no joke. I've used it every time i've dyed my hair because im very messy. it always comes off! just spray it on and let it soak then wipe it off XD

It's because of the alcohol in the perfume. That's why hand sanitizer works.

We use testers of perfume as cleaner at work all the time haha. Smells better than normal cleaner.

I just use bleach to get hair dye off grout.

This is really good to know... I have to have my WHITE bathroom spotless at the end of the week when i move out... and pink and purple hair has ruined it

put a little water on the stains and then pour ajax or comet or some form there-of on spot...let it sit for a while and scrub off, but when you don't have those things all of these are great idears.

So I'm completely out of it and forgot to add this.... when I dye my hair pink I bleach my roots first, and I save the extra hair bleach. After I'm done with everything, I brush some of the extra hair bleach on the stains and leave it on for about a half hour, then wash it away.

Another thing, but this has to be done within an hour or so of getting the dye on the surface: anti-bacterial soap. Something most people have alllll the time but don't realize how awesome it is. It works for counters and sinks and bathtubs annnnd your skin as well!
