There are a couple of ways to resize an image...
First, take the image you want, and open it in MSpaint.
Click Image, and then select Stretch/Skew from the drop-down-menu:
Enter whatever numbers you want in the horizontal and vertical boxes under stretch.
Make both numbers the same.
The closer to 0% you make it, the smaller your image will be:
To find out how big your picture is:
You don't want it to be too big.
For example, 150x200 is a good size, 450x600 isn't.
Save-as as a JPEG image:
This will mean the file size is not massive.
If it distorts the picture majorly, then try a different format, but it should be ok.
Or, you can resize using Photobucket.
Upload the image you want to Photbucket.
Click the Edit button above your desired image.
Then, click resize. Several options will come up, pick one.
To put the avatar on PRD:
You should have a picture uploaded to Photobucket now.
Click on the first code that shows up under your uploaded image:
It should automatically copy it.
Open up a webpage with PRD (ignore my multiple tabs). Click the profile button:
Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page, where it has the Avatar Control section.
Paste the code into the third box, "Link to Off-Site Avatar":
Click Submit, and you should be done!
(Note: if using the third option doesn't work for you, then try it with the first or second.
They don't work for alot of people, but they might work for you)
I hope that helps!
If you're still totally lost, PM me and I can help you out.
