Saw Alestorm awhile back, awesome time... Most recent was some awesome local bands rocking a coffee shop in the downtown district; Long Live, American Standards, blah blahblah.

Jamie Clarke (from the Pogues), he just played with a bassist in a little bar which was empty. It was awesome and depressing at the same time but I got my first guitarpick from him.

Saturday night we loaded up the car and drove from long island to asbury lanes (which is like 2 1/2 hours or so away) and got to see our friends the jukebox romantics open up for off with their heads and the street dogs. It was probably the most fun I have had since cbgb's closed. The venue is amazing, the staff was fabulous to us, and the show was fuckin' great. I got to sing up front without douchebags ruining a good time and bouncers standing right in front of me. A+++ night in my book!!!

That's my new hair haha and me all nasty after being up front and singing

The last show I went to was DRI at Station-4. It's weird now because I was on the bar side most of the time. I turned 21 in November. Being able to drink at shows is weirrrrrd!

haha yeah it's a weird transition not having to hide it...although now i get to be the one buying it for the kids and being the "bad adult"
